Davern's Grill and Deli had its grand opening Friday, Feb. 8, 2013.
This late night eatery is conveniently located at 77 E. Second St. and owned by Christine Davern, where she and her son, Joshua, do all of the cooking.
"We've always wanted to start up a great deli in Oswego," Christine said.
Davern's creates its own homemade rib-eye meat and its stuffed burgers range from classic, bacon and cheese to jalapeño style.
"The stuffed burgers is what people really want," Joshua noted.
Along with their "Wiz It" cheese for Philly cheese steak subs are wings, chicken fingers, sandwiches, salads, soup and deep fried desserts.
Some of their signature deep fried dishes are fried Oreos and candy bars like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
Davern's laid-back deli is right off of Bridge Street in a cozy, restaurant style atmosphere, equipped with a jukebox for customers to enjoy.
Davern's Grill and Deli is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday-Wednesday; 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., Thursday-Saturday; and is closed Sunday. The hours are subject to change.
