Miss-a-Meal, a long-running, twice-yearly SUNY Oswego charitable tradition, raised $3,779.75 for Clear Path for Veterans, as 1,163 students chose to forego a dining hall meal on April 23 and put the resulting savings toward the donation.

From left, Shelby Gallaro, a representative of the college's Student Association, makes the presentation May 11 to Terri Scanlan, director of fund development for Clear Path for Veterans, as Craig Traub, director of resident dining at SUNY Oswego, looks on. Since the tradition began at least 55 years ago, students have carried the fundraiser forward, choosing one or more charitable organizations each semester as beneficiaries. Clear Path's mission is to empower service members, veterans and their families through supportive programs and services in a safe, respectful environment.
