Write a commentEvery Saturday, the Art Association of Oswego holds art workshops we call “Art with Coffee.”
We say it’s like a spa day for your mind and creativity! Each Saturday a different local artist teaches a class. It’s an opportunity to learn new art techniques and styles. There is a small fee to cover the class and materials. This year, we want to showcase some of the artwork produced in these workshops.
We are asking those who have participated or instructed in our Art with Coffee series to submit up to two artworks completed during an Art with Coffee class. There is no charge to enter this show, and you do not need to be a member. Please submit works that are framed and ready for display. The Drop-off times will be Tuesday, September 9th, 6-8pm or Wednesday, September 10th, from 10-2pm. The Opening Reception will be Saturday, September 13th from 3-5pm and is free and open to the public.
The show will be open from Saturday, September 13th to Sunday, October 5th , in the Kirk Beason Gallery. The Art Association of Oswego is located at 30 Barbara Donahue Drive, across the street from Fort Ontario.
