The first fundraiser to help rebuild the storm riddled Midway Drive-In will be officially announced today at a 1:00 p.m. press conference on Midway Drive-In property given by local Girl Scout Troop #10101.
The girl scout troop is in process of making T-shirts with a logo/slogan for Midway on the front and a personal screen-printed message from John Nagelschmidt on the back. The T-shirts will be sold on July 25, 26 and 27 at the drive-in grounds from noon until 6 p.m., all days. In addition, the troop will also be at the iHeart Oswego building on 29 W. Seneca St., on July 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m with the T-shirts to sell. Donations will also be accepted by the troop with 100% of funds raised to go directly to the Midway Drive-In for re-building purposes.
