Write a commentThe Port City Royals Homeschool Volleyball teams played the Syracuse Eagles Homeschool team in Fair Haven last evening.
The boys teams started with the Port City Royals winning the first two matches of the night. The Eagles took the third having to play into overtime until they reached 30 points (5 more than the normal 25 required to win). The Port City boys came back fighting and took the fourth game for the night’s win.
The Port City Ladies team played the seasoned Eagles girls. They fought hard, but the Eagles girls took the night with the first three matches.
Participation in the Port City Royals is open to all homeschooled students in the area and students of the Oswego Community Christian School. The Port City Royals Sports offerings include: soccer, basketball, and volleyball. The teams are a part of the ESCAL League (Empire State Christian Athletic League) which plays teams from Northern PA, the Fingerlakes region, and Central New York.
