The Oswego Music Hall is offering several ukelele workshops. “Ukelele for Beginners” is being offered in partnership with Gina Marie Music Studio in Oswego.
It will take place on Sunday, August 26 from 3-4 pm. Class size is limited to the first 10 and is appropriate for children as well as adults just starting out. The Studio is also offering a beginner workshop in October, date to be announced.

You may also stop by the Studio at 1 Murray Street in Oswego. All workshop attendees August - October will qualify for a discount to Stu’s Ukelele concert (or any Music Hall concert) this fall.
A second ukelele workshop titled, “Reggae & Calypso for Ukulele: Grooves from the Heart” will be given by Stu Fuchs on Sunday, September 23. It is open to ALL LEVELS of player, beginner to advanced. It is recommended that attendees have some basic knowledge of Ukulele chords (C,F,G7 and G,C,D7). On Saturday, September 22, world renowned ukelele master, Stu Fuchs, will perform at the Music Hall. Tickets can be purchased at any Music Hall show, on-line at http:// oswegomusichall.org/ or at the river’s end bookstore, 19 West Bridge Street in Oswego. Advance sale tickets are $15. Children under 12 are half-price and those under 5 are free.

The Music Hall is a not-for-profit community arts organization, founded to provide a performance venue for the community and support for performing artists. It is run wholly by volunteers since its inception more than 40 years ago. Volunteers can earn admission to shows through various tasks— from running the sound board to making popcorn.
