Oswego’s first “PorchFest” will be held Sunday September 20 from 1-5PM on the porches, lawns and driveways of some 20 homes in the Historic Franklin Park and Montcalm Park neighborhoods.

This event brings 20+ musicians and/or performers together to celebrate and create a sense of community. Performers participate for no other reason than to showcase their talents and engage the community. They voluntarily take to the "stage" on porches/lawns/driveways at designated times to perform FREE for the public.

The theme for this first year of the Oswego Porchfest is "Rock On" with the T-shirt design created by Kylie Pelkey, a 2015 OHS graduate who was in Billie Jo Peterson’s art class.

The performance area runs from W. 3rd to W. 7th and from W. Cayuga to W. Van Buren Street. A schedule and map will be posted on line and in local media.

The more than 20 performers signed up bring a variety of music, poetry, children’s book reading and barbershop harmony along with a number of bands and singers to the neighborhood, some hailing from as far as Binghamton and Rochester!
