Born in Syracuse, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Frances (Ryan) Chavoustie.
Veronica was a teacher and social worker. She was employed by Hillcrest Nursing Home for many years.
Veronica is survived by her children David Parker (Tanya) and Andrea Wischerath (Steven), as well as her grandchildren Madeline and Abigale.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Byron Lyth in 2002.
There will be no services. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
