Vaughan-Saldich is a former resident of Oswego and still has family here. Every year at this time, Vaughan-Saldich and her husband stop in Oswego on their way to the Adirondack Mountains where they own a summer home.
"I love Oswego and look forward to this trip each year," Vaughan-Saldich said. "I have great memories of many things including St. Paul's School, where I attended as a young girl."
She was surprised to know that St. Paul's and St. Mary's had combined a number of years ago to form Trinity Catholic School.
"I'm pleased that while the school itself is gone, the tradition continues," she said.
