Robert Jones, of Oswego, took a few watercolor classes this past year and found it so much fun and challenging, he and some of the other participants in the class formed a Watercolor Painting Sharing Network group.
Over the winter, they worked on the following goals:
• Make time to work on a watercolor project
• Share resources and techniques with one another
• Share work completed
• Help one another with issues, frustrations, suggestions and encouragements
"We would like to expand our group and are looking for other interested individuals that might want to join us," Jones said. "I am the organizer and contact individual of this event and by no means the artist in resident. The Art Association of Oswego (AAO) board has approved this opportunity and is providing us with the facility for our Watercolor Painting Sharing Network."
The group will hold its first meeting from 6-9 p.m., Thursday, May 16, at the Art Association of Oswego facility.
There is no cost to join this group, however, AAO welcomes any donations from the group.
