Wayne A. Jock, 82, of Oswego passed away Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mr. Jock was born in Fort Covington, NY and was the son of the late Raymond A. and Vivian (DeLosh) Jock and stepson of Arlene (Carpenter) Jock.
After graduating from Oswego High School, Mr. Jock served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Jock, a member of IBEW Local 328, retired more than 20 years ago. He spent many winters pursuing his passion for golf in Myrtle Beach and Florida.
He was previously a coordinator with the Oswego Minor Hockey Association.
He is survived by four sons, Wayne R. Jock of Oswego, John E. Jock of Pulaski, Jeffrey Jock of Cocoa Beach, FL, Raymond Jock of Oswego, two daughters, Karen (Steve) Fike of Grapevine, TX, Linda Hamell of Lake Peekskill, his second wife Ann Major Jock, thirteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
He was predeceased by his first wife Janet Morgan Jock and his sister Gloria Haynes.
Friends are invited to a celebration of Mr. Jock's life to be held Monday December 30 from 4-7PM at his son's restaurant, La Parrilla, at 118 West Second St. Oswego.
