When Ermine Cunningham decided to write her new novel, EVolution: Rose and Vera Save Mother Earth, she must have done some healthy research on the origin of the term, Mother Earth.

As it turns out, the earliest written and safely dated literal references go back to Mycenaean Greek times during the 12th or 13th century. Fast forward to the 1960’s when James Lovelock formulated the Gaia hypothesis. It states that all life, and all living things on the planet, are part of a single, all-encompassing global entity or consciousness which he named Gaia.

In her new novel, best friends, Rose and Vera, set out to explore the many ways we as humans impact on this fragile balance and are determined to help save Mother Earth. Join them on their road trip as they try to convince a billionaire to help as they dodge the law, do some seat-dancing and ignore common sense. You’ll laugh out loud as some of their antics.

Join Ermine under the shade of the Maple Tree on Seven Acres Alpaca Farm and spend a couple hours listening to the author talk about her journey in writing this timely book. There will be time to ask question, spend time with a few magical alpacas, and share in some good conversation.
