Woodchuck Saloon, dubbed "Oswego's premier biker bar," can now be found online with the creation of its new website.

Owners, Becky and Steve Walpole and Dave and Brenda Walpole, both husband-and-wife teams, jointly purchased the bar nine years ago and are all bikers themselves. As a result, Becky said their core clientele are bikers, along with a lot of blue collar and union workers.
According the Becky, they began serving food about 2 ½ years ago with her brother-in-law David as the chef.
"It's something we all wanted to do," she said. "By serving food, it now gives people the option of having a place to go for both drinks and dinner, rather than having to go to one place for dinner and another for a couple of drinks."
With the inception of the website, patrons can view the entire menu online, along with the establishment's events and a photo gallery.
The site was developed by the local company, I Heart Corp., who not only designs and builds websites, but also offers a awide array of services including marketing and advertising.
Becky said she is excited about the site and hopes people will take advantage of it to realize all Woodchuck offers, including parties, fundraisers and benefits.
"We support and sponsor many things like roller derby, softball, bowling as well as race cars," she said. "We get involved in a lot of different community events."
Becky said Woodchuck also has daily food specials and offers lunch delivery.
"We aren't sure who even knows we serve food, so with the website, we hope to spread the word," she said.
Woodchuck also does catering and even though the catering menu is still being developed, clients can call now for options and pricing.
One thing Becky said she would like to stress is the food they serve is fresh, in particular their signature pulled pork, chicken spiedies and burgers.
"We smoke our own pulled pork and we also make our own chicken tenders," she said.
Woodchuck Saloon Bar and Grill is located at 1 Mitchell St. and is open seven days a week, opening every day at 11 a.m. except Sunday when they open at noon. Kitchen hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday-Wednesday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday-Saturday; and from noon to 8 p.m., Sunday.
