Write a commentYvonne Grace Harrington Saxman Palmitesso, 75, of Oswego, died peacefully at her home Friday, March 1, 2013.
She was born in Oswego to the late Dorr and Irma (Caster) Harrington and was a lifetime resident. Yvonne received her Licensed Practical Nurse from Memorial Hospital, in Syracuse.
She worked as an activities director with Harr-Wood Nursing Home, in Oswego
Yvonne was an active participant in the Dexterville Seventh Day Adventist Church, in Dexterville. She loved to bird watch and care for them. She also enjoyed gardening and constructing Adirondack Furniture.
Yvonne is survived by her children, Sherry Franke, of Oswego, Joy Ahles, of Camillus, and Barry Saxman of Florida; her siblings, Donna Jenson, of Oswego, Joanne Scutti, of Florida, Christine Mayer, of Oswego, and Lloyd Harrington, of Mexico; eight grandchildren, Morgan, Amanda, Cory, Victoria, Shaina, Lindsay, Jessica, and Andrea; several nieces and nephews and cousins; and her faithful companion, Calais.
Funeral services and Burial will be held privately.
