Write a commentThe Zonta Club of Oswego is currently accepting applications for their Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) scholarship. The deadline for submitting applications is March 18, 2016.
This is a tiered application process. The local winner is submitted to the Zonta District for an additional chance to win and that applicant goes to on Zonta International, providing opportunity to win $500 at the local level, $1,000 at the district level and $4,000 at the international level.
The YWPA scholarship focuses on the applicant’s involvement in the community and is not based on academics (no transcript is required).
