We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Friends - on Saturday 10/22, the Sunrise Rotary Club will be presenting Dinner and a Movie at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, beginning at 5:00PM. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sunrise Rotary Club, the Oswego County Humane Society and the Oswego High School Interact Club.
This year's movie is Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, and will feature special guest speaker, Dr. Peter Ostrum, who played "Charlie Bucket" in the original 1971 film! Tickets will include: 50/50, raffles, door prizes, social hour, dinner, talk by Dr. Ostrum, movie, chocolate fountain and a special treat from Man in the Moon Candies. I have tickets if anyone is interested, the prices are: $25 for adults, $15 for children 6-12 and $5 for children 5 and under. Reserved tables for ten people are available for $250 and include special recognition and a free 1/2 page ad in the dinner program. This is looking to be a sell out show so get your tickets early!
For my friends in business: in addition to tickets, there are sponsorship opportunities available. We are offering the table sales, program ads and accepting donations for door prizes and a Chinese auction. If you have any other ideas for sponsorship let me know.
