The Oswego County 4-H Program, part of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County, is excited to announce that their winter horse program, Winter Round-Up.
This program is open to any youth, ages eight and older, who are interested in learning about horses, doing equine-related activities, and having fun with friends. Winter Round-Up will be held Friday, February 20th through Sunday, February 22nd at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center. No horses attend the event, but each day will be spent learning about horses, and youth will get to know fellow equestrians from Oswego County and beyond!
Attendees will sleep overnight in the Center’s dormitory and must provide their own chaperone. The cost for each youth is $40.00, and chaperones are $18.00. Fees include all meals, snacks, handouts, and hands-on items. Registration closes on Sunday, February 8th, and fees are due to the CCE Oswego County office by Tuesday, February 10th, with no refunds being issued after that date. After registration and fees are received, a confirmation letter with detailed information and permission slip will be sent.
