Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
YMCA Drumminators (Ages 6 & Up)
Wednesday’s 6:30pm-7:00pm (4 week sessions)
The YMCA Drumminators are an established group that plays a wide variety of percussion instruments with a focus on performance. Students will learn to read simple rhythm, as well as play more complex rhythms by note.
Session dates: November 27th– December 18th
Members: $10 per session - Non-Members: $25 per session
BOOMWHACKERS (Ages 6 & Up)
Wednesday’s 7:00pm-7:30pm (4 week sessions)
Boomwhackers are colorful plastic tubes which have different pitches depending on their size. This class will explore the ways that these cool instruments can make music. Cooperation is key, since students will need to work with each other to create an overall musical effect.
Session dates - November 27th– December 18th
Members $10 per session
Non-Members: $25 per session
