The Art Association of Oswego is pleased to announce the return of our “Art with Coffee” series of Saturday morning workshops for 2020 with a series of sessions in February at the home studio of local artist Suzanne Gaffney Beason, located at 120 W 7th St, Oswego. Ms. Beason’s studio is handicap accessible.
These workshops run from 10 AM - Noon, cost $10 each, and all materials and supplies are provided. BYO coffee or other beverage.
February topics are: • Feb. 1 – Exploring Color through Mono-printing with Paint • Feb. 8 – Exploring the new Wonderfully Soft Carvable Linoleum • Feb. 15 – Non-traditional Floral Still Life Painting • Feb. 22 – Mono-printing with Gel Plates and Water-based Inks • Feb. 29 – The Proof is in the Palette - Enriching Your Palette by Exploring the Palettes of the Masters
February’s instructor, Suzanne Beason, worked many years for Marvel Comics before returning to school and completing an advanced degree in printmaking at SUNY Oswego. She has been working as an artist ever since and is a marvelous teacher. You may see her artwork at www.SuzanneGaffneyBeason.com.
