Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
This year we are excited to announce that our winter horse program, Winter Round-Up, will be returning to a full weekend format! If you’re interested in learning about horses, doing equine related activities, and having food and fun with friends, then this weekend is for YOU! It will be spent learning without your horse counterpart and will help you get to know fellow equestrians from Oswego County — and beyond!
This year we want to reach as many young people as possible to get them interested in horses with the potential for them to join 4-H and continue their interest in horses. Therefore, after an initial period, open to only currently enrolled Oswego County 4-H members, we will be opening up this program to all of New York State. So be sure to save your place by registering early!
Fee: the cost for each attendee is $40.00 and the cost for chaperones is $18.00, this includes all meals, snacks, handouts, and hands-on items.
