Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

The City of Oswego will host events on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, to honor and remember the lives lost on 9/11/01.
The events will include a Sunrise Silent Procession and a Remembrance Ceremony.
The Sunrise Silent Procession will start at 6:30 am at the intersection of East Bridge and East 4th Street, traveling west on Bridge Street to West Second Street, ending by passing the Oswego Police Department Headquarters. This Sunrise Silent Procession features emergency vehicles from area fire departments, law enforcement, and emergency medical service agencies. Members of the public should line the South sidewalk of the bridge.
The 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony will start at 8:30 am at the Oswego Fire Department Headquarters, located at 35 East Cayuga Street, City of Oswego.
Members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend both the Sunrise Silent Procession and Remembrance Ceremony. A reception following the ceremony will be held at the John D. Murray Firefighters Museum, located behind Oswego Fire Department Headquarters.
