We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.

- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.

As the days are getting shorter and the weather slowly shifts toward winter, birds undertake their spectacular fall migration. We normally concentrate on spring migration, but avian migration happens twice a year as birds fly thousands of miles through the night. Some will stop to rest and refuel along the way at the Sterling Nature Center giving us the opportunity to observe them. Enjoy the fall landscape as we seek out the birdlife of the Sterling Nature Center and celebrate NYS Pathways Through Natural History Weekend.
