Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
A garden bursting with beautiful blooms is a sight to behold! Although flowers typically make up the largest component of our gardens, there are many other non-plant elements we can incorporate into our space as well. These non-plant elements offer numerous benefits to all those visiting the gardens. Elements such as water stations, bird baths, rocks, and logs provide nourishment and shelter for birds and pollinators. Decorative pots, benches, arbors, and paths invite guests into the garden to enjoy the beauty of a thoughtfully designed space. In this program, learn about the various elements you can incorporate into your garden to enhance its impact and uniqueness. We’ll wrap up with a tour of the nature center gardens- how many non-plant elements can you spot?
Registration: $2/Member; $3/Nonmember.
Registration fees do not include park admission ($5/vehicle).
