Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The annual event brings back the popular macaroni and cheese (MC), chili (C) and chicken wing (W) challenges! Competitions kick off on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., with macaroni and cheese and continue over the weekend from noon to 6 p.m. both days; with chili tasting on Saturday and the wing walk on Sunday.
Tasting portions are two ounces for both macaroni and cheese and chili, and two-wing samples for the wing walk.
Ballots are $5 each for the macaroni and cheese and chili food challenges and $10 for the wing walk. They can be purchased beginning Thursday, Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Half-shire Historical Society or at Designs of Elegance. Ballots can also be purchased at any participating location throughout the festival. A map is provided on the back of each ballot with a list of participating locations and addresses.
