Creative crafters and basket-making enthusiasts are invited to spend a fun and productive day at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center for a hands-on basket weaving workshop led by experienced basket maker, Linda Scherz.

Participants will have the opportunity to choose between weaving one of two beautiful and functional baskets: Linda's Wine Basket or Linda's Tote Basket. Both projects are suitable for beginners as well as those with basket weaving experience.

All materials and tools needed to complete either basket will be provided by the instructor. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing. Baskets will not be stained during class.

Whether you're creating a unique handmade gift or a basket for your own use, this workshop offers a rewarding opportunity to learn traditional basket weaving techniques while crafting something beautiful and functional.

Class fee is $74; this fee includes the materials for the class. Registration is required as seating is limited: https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/basket26_235
