Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Technology Education Conference.
The SUNY Oswego department of technology will host its 75th fall conference.
Keynote speaker Yvonne Spicer, vice president for advocacy and educational partnerships at the Museum of Science in Boston and a 1984 Oswego alumna, will speak at 10:30 a.m. in Sheldon Hall's ballroom.
The two-day conference is open to all K-16 educators and professionals who want to explore this year's theme of "Technology Education for All: K-16" and find out the latest developments in technology education and related fields.
From 400 to 500 attendees will enjoy 50 plus presentations, a technology innovation showcase and vendor displays.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. 312-3011. $50; parking for those without a campus parking sticker is $1 -- see oswego.edu/administration/parking. 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wilber and Park Halls.
