Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Library Learning Center Offers 4-Part EBay Class
The Oswego Public Library's Library Learning Center will offer a four-part EBay Basics workshop on December 8, 15, 22, and 29. Each class is free and runs from 10am to 12pm. Topics covered by the instructor include: creating an account, listing items, successful selling tips, and troubleshooting
In addition to our EBay workshop, the Library Learning Center will feature Online Shopping Assistance Lab, Microsoft Word, Blogging Basics, Couponing with the Computer, Computer Basics with Windows 8, and Computer Tune Up with Windows 8. Dates and times are as follows:
December 3 – Online Shopping Assistance Lab 2:00-4:00
December 5 – Microsoft Word 10:00-12:00
December 10 – Blogging Basics 2:00-4:00
December 12 – Couponing with the Computer 10:00-12:00
December 17 – Computer Basics with Windows 8 4:30-6:30
December 24 – Computer Tune Up with Windows 8 12:00-2:00
The Library Learning Center is located on the lower level of the Oswego Public Library, and is open Monday-Friday. All programs are free and open to the public. Please call the library at 341-5867 to register for workshops or if you have further questions.
