Write a commentThe City of Fulton swore in their newest judge, the Honorable James Nicholson, today, June 1, at City Hall.
Oswego County Surrogate Judge Spencer Ludington officiated the ceremony. Surrounded by family, friends, Mayor Rice, and colleages, he took the oath. Judge Nicholson thanked everyone who attended and was given a congratulatory reception in the Municipal Community Room.
Judge Nicholson's family is no stranger to the bench. His father is former NY Supreme Court Justice Robert Nicholson.
The new justice replaces the late Honorable David Hawthorne, who passed away in April.
