The Oswego County 4-H Program will be presenting another short-term Sparks Club.
A ‘Sparks Club’ is a short, two- to four-session club that introduces youth to the 4-H program and the curriculum developed by 4-H educators. Youth joining a Sparks Club will be enrolled as a 4-H independent member for the 2023-2024 year.
There will be three sessions in this series, to be held Fridays, April 12 from 6 – 7:30 p.m., April 19 from 6:30 – 8 p.m., and April 26 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at Believers Chapel North, 5375 State Route 3 in Mexico. Youth attending Sparks – Small Animals will discover the diversity of pets, from reptiles to birds to small mammals.
Sparks – Small Animals is open to Oswego County youth ages five to 18. There is no program fee for enrolled Oswego County 4-H Members. Youth not enrolled in Oswego County 4-H will pay a $15 fee, which includes enrollment into the 2023-2024 Oswego County 4-H Program. Registration closes April 9th and is required as space is limited. A parent or legal guardian must attend the first session to complete and sign additional enrollment paperwork
