On Tuesday, November 18 at 6:30 p.m. a town hall forum will be held at the Scriba Volunteer Fire Corporation Hall, 5618 Rt. 104, Oswego.

A panel of representatives who have been working to ensure humanitarian and legal rights for immigrants will provide guidance and resources on how our community can organize effectively to support our immigrant friends and families.

The forum is organized by Indivisible - Oswego County, Organize Oswego, and Concerned Citizens of NY-24. Diana Kastenbaum from Concerned Citizens of NY-24 and a candidate for Congress will moderate the discussion.

People across our area have witnessed the unprecedented actions taken by ICE and Border Patrol as they carry out the harsh directives of the Trump Administration. From the Sackets Harbor raid in March to the Cato factory raid in September, citizens across New York have been shocked and saddened. Together, we can provide immediate support to those at risk.
