Adele C. Lamb (Pryor), 78, of Sandy Pond and formerly of Oswego, passed away the morning of Monday, November 6, 2017, at the Manor at Seneca Hill.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Franklin H. and Adele Breitbeck Pryor.
Adele was the wife of Ronald C. Lamb, and was the love of his life for sixty years.
She had been employed for many years as a teller at the east side branch of the Oswego Marine Midland Bank and at HSBC Bank until her retirement.
Adele was a member of the Sandy Pond Sportsmen’s Association, where she shared many fun times with great friends.
Mrs. Lamb was a lifelong member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Oswego.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by four daughters, also known as “Team Momma”, who will all greatly miss their mother and best friend; Robin (Jerry Curran) Lamb Jensen of Oswego, Valerie (Jeffrey) Gerber of Oswego, Melody (Christopher) Bradford of Oswego, and Amanda (Tammy) Lamb-Masse of Milton, VT; one brother, Franklin Pryor of Oswego; one sister, Irene Schumaker of North Carolina; five grandchildren, Steven (Jessica) Leaf, Zachary Gerber, Jacob Gerber, Jordan Runner, Harlee Curran; three great-grandchildren, Isabella, Evan and Aria; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends, all of whom loved Adele dearly.
She was predeceased by one brother, Ralph Pryor, and one sister, Ethel Warren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 11, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home at 10am. Calling hours are Friday 4-8pm at the funeral home on East 2nd Street in Oswego. Burial will be in the New Haven Rural Cemetery.
