Concinnity, the select women’s group, will be reprise its September performance of The Beat Goes On, A 60s Concert! at 3:00 on Sunday, October 27th, at the Minetto United Methodist Church.
The building is fully accessible and is located at the corner of State Route 48 and County Route 8, one block south of the Stewarts Shop, midway between Oswego and Fulton, in the village of Minetto. Its physical address for GPS purposes is 2433 County Route 8, Oswego, NY 13126. The mailing address is PO Box 217, Minetto, NY 13115-0217. The church phone is 315-343-3465.
Concinnity is under the direction of Mary Lou Bjorkman and will be accompanied by Erny Papay at the piano and Sean Simonson on bass. Bjorkman says, “The concert is to celebrate the soundtrack of our lives.” She invites the audience to “Dig out your bell bottoms, tie dyed shirts, fringe vests, and love beads, and come join us for a journey through the music of our youth. Sing along or tap your toes to songs by the Beatles, Sonny and Cher, the Association, Simon and Garfunkel, and The Mamas and the Papas, just to name a few.”
While there is no admission charge for the concert, a free will donation will be gratefully accepted to show Concinnity’s appreciation to the church for providing rehearsal accommodations.
