Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Helena F. (Wright) Jermyn.
She worked as a clerk for Oswego High School and was very active in the YMCA. She also enjoyed gardening and crafting. She enjoyed spending summers at her cottage with her family. Ann was a life long communicate of St. Mary’s Church.
Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Donald E. Bishop Sr. and a brother Thomas Jermyn.
Ann Marie is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (John) Manion of Minetto; her sons, Donald (Debbie) Bishop Jr. of Mexico, NY and Timothy J. Bishop; of Scriba, her brother, John “Jack” J. (Karen) Jermyn; sisters, Helen Mary Jermyn; a sister-in-law Rose Jermyn; grandchildren, Lauren Sharkey and Caitlin (Zachary) Welling; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, 4-7 pm at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St., Oswego.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday, 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Church.
Burial will be held in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
