Write a commentI recently visited Woodchuck Saloon, 1 Mitchell St., for lunch and as always, I left completely satisfied. Not only is the service always fantastic at Woodchuck Saloon, their food is always immaculate.
My favorite lunch dish to order (as pictured above), is the chicken speedies with onions and peppers on a garlic bun. The seasonings on the speedies mix splendedly with the onons and peppers, as well as with the garlic roll. This dish always satisfies my hunger; it never lets me down.
I decided during one lunch break to venture out to a different dish: the southern pulled pork sandwhich (pictured to the right). The spices in the pork were well balanced and the pork itself was tender.
Both dishes were accompanied by homemade potato chips. Woodchuck Saloon has some of the best homemade chips in the area. These are a must have for any chip enthusiast.
And this is another reason I heart Oswego.
