The Old City Hall block is proof that Oswego is living history. You can feel it in the twists, turns and creaks of the buildings that have withstood the years of tumultuous weather and political shifts that have ebbed and flowed like the waves that find resolution on our cobblestone shores.
Though we often associate Old City with being one of the seemingly countless town bars where many an elbow has been bent, another facet shines forth from its restaurant, which in the subdued but magical August light, opens itself onto airy Water Street as a delightful feast for all the senses. One is tossed playfully among the echoes of the 1800's by way of the scent of old wood floors, lending new meaning to the phrase, the offering of spirits, with good old-fashioned hospitality-- a rest for one's own weary bones!
