She was born in Potsdam, NY and was the daughter of the late Rueben and Mollie Chase Cheney.
Mrs. Cyrus was the widow of the late Ronald Cyrus who died in 2012.
She is survived by one daughter Susan(James) Souva of Hannibal, one son Timothy (Missy) Cyrus of Jordan, NY one brother Paul Cheney of Oregon, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great grandaughter and several neices and nephews.
Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Parishville, NY.
Arrangements are by the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
