Write a commentStudent athletes in Oswego looking to get some practice passing their soccer or lacrosse balls for a quick return will have a place to do so thanks to the Oswego Buccaneer Boosters.
A “ball return” wall or “kickwall” as many refer, has been erected with the financial support of the Boosters and the construction efforts of the Oswego City School District.
The two-sided wall located on the east end of the Turrill Street fields is set up for any student athlete to use as a rebounder to develop touch and kicking ability for their soccer game and work on stick skills for lacrosse. “The Boosters are thrilled to have been able to provide this excellent skill building wall for student athletes,” noted Booster President, Judith Queale-Dunsmoor. “We hope that students use the wall independently and that coaches find ways to utilize it during practice time.”
