Camp Zerbe Announces 2026 Summer Day Camp Registration Now Open

Camp Zerbe Announces 2026 Summer Day Camp Registration Now Open

The Oswego County Youth Bureau announces that registration is now open for 2026 summer day camp at Camp Zerbe!

There will be seven sessions for children aged 6 to 12. Each camp session runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and registration is $40 per week.

“We’re excited to announce our summer programs at Camp Zerbe,” said Oswego County Parks and Recreation Coordinator Kyle Perez. “Each week’s theme is designed to engage kids in new ways, spark their creativity and help them make lasting friendships.”

Weekly sessions feature a unique theme designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and teamwork, giving campers a summer to remember.

The seven themes in this year’s program are:

 Week 1: June 29-July 3 Video Game Week

Level up with activities inspired by favorite games Mario races, Minecraft crafting, creative challenges and fun adventures that bring classic video games to life!

Week 2: July 6-10 – Great American Road Trip

Travel across the USA without leaving camp! Each day brings a new “stop” with themed games, crafts and roadside fun from iconic cities and landscapes.

Week 3: July 13-17 – Wilderness Explorers

Embark on an adventure through forests, mountains and rivers! Explore nature with imaginative games, hands-on crafts, teamwork challenges and calming projects.

Week 4: July 20-24 – Olympics Week

Go for the gold! Campers will enjoy Olympic-inspired events, creative medal-making and a celebration of teamwork and sportsmanship.

 Week 5: July 27-31 – Under the Sea Week

Dive into an underwater adventure filled with ocean creatures, treasure hunts and colorful sea-themed crafts for a splashy, creative week of fun.

 Week 6: Aug. 3-7 – Sports Week

Experience the excitement of team games, obstacle courses and fun activities! Campers will also enjoy sports-themed crafts and reflection time.

 Week 7: Aug. 10-14 – Color Week

Celebrate the rainbow! Each day features vibrant, color-themed crafts, bright games and calming sensory stations for a week that’s as colorful as it is fun.

Camp Zerbe is also looking for summer camp counselors through the Oswego AmeriCorps Program. Counselors help deliver fitness and nutrition education and enjoy a meaningful summer experience. AmeriCorps members receive a living allowance for their time at Camp Zerbe and an educational award upon completing the program.

The Oswego County Nature Park at Camp Zerbe is owned by Oswego County and operated by the Oswego County Youth Bureau. The 540-acre facility is located in Williamstown and includes an interpretive nature center, playground and other amenities, such as a pavilion and a lodge. Groups interested in renting the pavilion or lodge can call the Oswego County Youth Bureau at 315-349-3450 for reservations, which are required.
