Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Isabella Magnante.
She worked in the Aux Services at Oswego State University.
Carolyn enjoyed traveling and camping. She loved to sew and cook. She enjoyed spending time with her family and gatherings during the holidays.
She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth “Betsy” Ferlito of Oswego; Anne Ferlito of Minetto; three sons, Michael (Teresa) Ferlito of Minetto; John Ferlito of Minetto; David Ferlito of Scriba; four grandchildren, Mike Ferlito Jr., Jaime Ferlito, Erin (Matthew) Welling and Jessica Ferlito; two great-grandchildren, Bailey Welling and Aidehn Welling; several niece and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband John Ferlito and her siblings Gerald Mangnante, Joseph Mangnante and Antoinette Mangnante.
Funeral Services will be held at Noon, Saturday at the Nelson Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held prior from 10 a.m. to Noon, at the funeral home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
Entombment will be in All-Saints Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery.
