Write a commentCarolyn R. Gillette, 77, a resident of Oswego passed away on July 25 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Carlo and Noma (Perry) Damone and was a graduate of the Oswego High School.
She was employed at the Library at the State University of Oswego.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen (Richard) Batchelor of Oswego, Karen (Edward) Ferguson of Oswego, a son, Brigade General Mark (Ingrid) Gillette of Hawaii, a sister, Patricia Stark of Cortland, seven grandchildren and one great grandson.
She was predeceased by her great grandson, J.J. McNitt and two sisters, Fran Alexander and Norma See.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00- 2:00 at the Dowdle Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Oswego Health Foundation.
