Charles W. Tyrrell Jr., 80, a resident of Oswego, died August 19, 2017 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Fulton, NY he was the son of the late Charles Sr. and Anna (Guardino) Tyrrell.
He was a Air Force Veteran.
He worked as a Class A. Moulder for Oswego Castings.
He enjoyed bowling and attending tournaments. He enjoyed time with his family and grandchildren, he loved to cook and was an avid outdoorsman enjoying both hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Harriet (Nettles) Tyrrell; five daughters, Laurie Tyrrell of Syracuse; Mindy Tyrrell of Oswego; Bonnie (Roy) LoVine, of Oswego; Cielle (James) Tovey of Oswego; Anne (Eric) Jensen, of Waterloo; four sons, Charles D. Tyrrell of Fl; William Tyrrell of Fl; Charles W. Tyrrell III of Fulton; Allen (Tammy) Bartholomew of Fl; a sister, Josephine Hall of Oswego; twenty five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by her daughters, Cathy Jean Tyrrell and Deann Neild, brothers, Daniel and Steven Tyrrell, three sisters Marie Manford, Phoebe Cobb and Francine Fontana.
Calling hours will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, with a service to follow, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
