Chris Squitieri, Republican and Conservative candidate for Oswego City Common Council  is encouraging all registered Republicans in the 7th Ward to make their voices heard in the Republican Primary Election on Tuesday, June 24th.

Polls will be open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Elim Grace Church, the regular polling location for the 7th Ward.

Chris Squitieri is the endorsed Republican and Conservative candidate, running a campaign centered on restoring trust in local government, supporting strong public safety, and creating real opportunities for growth across the city, starting right here in the 7th Ward.

A retired law enforcement professional with over 35 years of service, Chris returned to Oswego to help care for his aging parents and re-establish roots in the community where he was raised. His father owned and operated Oswego County Plumbing for over 50 years, and the values of hard work, honesty, and service run deep in Chris's family.

Chris has been actively involved in the community and the Republican Party, advocating for responsible leadership and common-sense solutions. Now, he's ready to bring his steady, no-nonsense approach to City Hall.

Chris's vision for the 7th Ward and the City of Oswego includes:

  • Smart Infrastructure Investment: Prioritizing long-overdue upgrades to roads, sidewalks, and lighting based on need and safety.
  • Local Economic Growth: Supporting our existing businesses, attracting new industry and tourism, and revitalizing the eastside waterfront to benefit both residents and job creation.
  • Public Safety & Accountability: Ensuring our police and fire departments are well-resourced while remaining transparent and accountable to the taxpayers.
  • Fiscal Responsibility: Making sure every tax dollar is spent wisely, with clear communication to residents about how their money is used.

"This Primary matters," said Squitieri. "It's about neighbors choosing the person they believe will fight for them at City Hall. I'm proud to have earned the trust of so many residents across the 7th Ward throughout this campaign.

Voters are encouraged to make a plan to vote on Tuesday, June 24th at Elim Grace Church. For voters unable to make it on Election Day, Early Vote and Vote By Mail is available to all registered voters under current state law.
