(Oswego, New York) — Just in time for spooky season, Savannah Stephens will visit the library on Saturday, October 3rd, from 1 to 2 pm to talk about her book, Witch Queen Rising.
Step into gothic kingdoms, cursed forests, and haunted palaces where every bargain with magic demands blood, loyalty, or your soul.
Savannah Stephens is a dark fantasy author who proudly creates the representation she lacked growing up. Her complex protagonists are warriors, queens, assassins, witches, and monsters who all embody Black Girl Magic. Her goal is not only to give readers fantastical worlds to escape into, but lessons and tools to survive the real one when the pages stop turning.
Her Southern Gothic fantasy debut, Witch Queen Rising, was an Amazon Editors' Pick for Best Sci-Fi & Fantasy (April 2026).
Books will be available for purchase and signing.
