Civic-Minded Motorcycle Clubs Hold Two Events May 21st, 22nd

The Oswego County Comets' "Blessing of the Bikes" event is set for Saturday, May 21st, while Oswego County Fire and Iron's "Thunder in the Creek" event is planned for Sunday, May 22nd.

The Oswego County Comets RC proudly announces the 12th annual Blessing of the Bikes to be held on Saturday, May 21st at Hazzy's Tavern in New Haven. This event is FREE and open to the public and will begin with a breakfast brunch at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Blessing at noon. The ride itself will follow the Blessing, which is being given for riders to have a safe riding season. This event will be held rain or shine! Three stops will be made during the ride at Happy Valley Inn, Redfield Square and Ma Barkers.

There will be 50/50 raffles and a card draw.

Thunder 2015Oswego County's Fire and Iron Station 1438 MC also proudly announces its 7th annual Thunder in the Creek Ride to be held Sunday, May 22nd at the Oswego County Fairgrounds in Sandy Creek. This event is open to the public and registration begins at 9:00 a.m. with kick stands up at 11:15 for a 90 mile ride of northern New York and the Tug Hill Plateau. There will be two stops during the ride, which will then return to the Fairgrounds for food and games.

Registration: $20.00/driver and $15.00/rider. There will be a $100.00 prize for the bike club with the most members in attendance!!

The Oswego County Comets RC and Oswego County Fire and Iron Station 1438 MC are both civic-minded organizations with long-standing roots in the community. Both clubs share a great enthusiasm for motorcycling and a love of the open road. Come and join the Comets and Fire and Iron for an entire weekend of motorcycling fun and community spirit.
