A new pavilion is being constructed of post and beam that houses a brick oven for wood fired pizzas that will be served to guests. The pavilion comes to fill a need for the overwhelming demand for events on property. Colloca Estate hosts wedding ceremonies overlooking its 900 feet of waterfront on Little Sodus Bay and has a great demand for smaller events for reunions, anniversaries, showers, post-funeral gatherings, and rehearsal dinners. The pavilion, set amongst the 12 acre vineyard overlooking the property's pond, will fill this need and is set to be completed in late August.
On Friday, August 28th, Colloca will bring CNY's premiere interactive, touring dinner theatre company, Theatre Du Jour, to the estate to break in the new pavilion in grand style with a dinner theatre event - offering a full social evening including a 5-course wine paring experience. The night will begin with cocktail hour at 5:30 in the tasting room with piano and musings from Dan Williams and a themed photo booth. Next up, a decadent 5-course meal, prepared by Colloca Estate chef Steven Cook, will be served on the new pavilion! At 7:30, Theatre Du Jour will take "the stage" amongst the patrons for 'BINGO - The Winning Musical', where patrons are 100% a part of the show; playing BINGO and winning prizes along with the cast!
