Concinnity, the select women’s group, will be performing in concert entitled A Million Dreams! at 4:00 on Sunday, June 9th at Faith United Church.
The building is fully accessible and is located near Oswego Middle School, at 12 Mark Fitzgibbons Drive, Oswego, NY 13126, and there is ample parking.
Concinnity is under the direction of Mary Lou Bjorkman and is accompanied by Nancy Pease and Erny Papay. Their guests will be the Oswego Homeschool Choir.
This will be a concert of uplifting and inspiring music to remind us that things can improve and that more is possible if we work together. The concert will begin and end with songs about dreams: A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman and ending with The Impossible Dream from Man of La Mancha. In between there are songs of hope, gathering strength in times of adversity, and a song which answers the burning questions, "Are women people?" and "What is a legislature?" You'll have to come to the concert to get the answers!
While there is no admission charge for the concert, a free will donation will be gratefully accepted to help this group of local singers continue to present such concerts.
