Concinnity, the select women’s vocal ensemble, will be presenting a concert of music of the holiday season, Sounds of Christmas.

Under the direction of Mary Lou Carpenter-Bjorkman, and accompanied by Erny Papay, the group will perform familiar carols and newer compositions referencing all things Christmas. Those in attendance will hear arrangements of Away in a Manger, The First Noel, and Coventry Carol, along with some contemporary songs, such as Grown Up Christmas List, Ring Silver Bells, and a song in which  Mrs. Claus finally gets some respect!

The concert will be held on Sunday, December 7, 3:00 pm, at the Faith United Church, 12 Mark Fitzgibbons Drive,  Oswego. There is no charge for the concert, however free will donations are always gratefully accepted.

Concinnity has been performing for 25 years, and has presented well over 70 concerts in that time, as well as entertaining at meetings, social events, and other gatherings. Carpenter-Bjorkman states “We may look a little older, but our spirit has not diminished in the least!”  So come!  Relax a little while, and start your holiday season off with some inspirational (and some fun) Christmas music!
