Write a commentCyndia A. Donovan, 62, passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in Syracuse, she was the daughter of the late Homer F. Bowman and Mayfred (Clark) Bowman.
Cyndia worked as an Operations Manager for Oswego State for 42 years.
She loved traveling and spending time with her family on a beach or in the sun.
She is survived by her husband Timothy Donovan, of 44 years, and a daughter, Brandy (Timothy) Weigelt of Oswego, a son Michael (Jan) Donovan of Oswego, 3 brothers, Steven (Barbara) Bowman of Virginia, William Bowman of Florida, and Jeffrey (Ron) Bowman of California, 4 grandchildren, Tylar, Elexis, Cole and Mazzie.
Calling hours will be held Sunday 3-7p.m. with a service to follow at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street Oswego, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made towards a scholarship fund in honor of Cyndia.
