Born in Syracuse, he was the son of AnnaLisa (Daniel) Goss McKee of N.C. and Uri (Donna) Ellis of N.C.
Daniel loved fishing, swimming, hunting and spending time with his children.
Surviving besides his parents, are his children, Emily Rose Ellis, Madelyn M. Ellis and Zachary J. Joseph Ellis; a sister Amber Ellis; half sister ChristyLee Elridge; 6 step brothers and sisters; maternal grandmother Doris Goss of Kentucky and formerly Central Square; Paternal Grandmother Phoebe Ellis of Fulton; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his long-time girlfriend and mother of his children, Alexandra Arnold.
Calling hours will be held 4-5:30PM Thursday with a prayer service to follow at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
