David W. Galloway, 84, a resident of Bishop Commons passed away on June 25 at his home.

Born in Oswego, he was a a son of the late James and Ann (Garalin) Galloway and was a graduate of the Oswego High School. He was employed with A.T.& T for 30 years and was the warehouse manager at Western Electric in Syracuse. With the advent of the Korean Conflict, David served his country as a member of the United States Navy, aboard the destroyer U.S.S. Storms from 1951-1953. This experience contributed greatly to his life long love of boating. He was an avid automobile enthusiast from everything from Corvettes to Hummers.

Surviving are his sister, Constance Anderson of East Haddam, CT., and nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his brother, James Galloway in 2005.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 from St. Paul's Church.

Entombment will be in All Saint's Mausoleum.

There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St.Paul's Church, 50 East Mohawk St., Oswego N.Y. 13126.

Arrangements are in care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
